We are looking for a passionate Developer Advocate to become part of our DoubleCloud team and help us win the hearts and minds of data engineers and developers across the world. In this role, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between our technical teams and external developers, promoting our advanced data infrastructure products, and driving engagement within the tech community. Join us!

About DoubleCloud And Our Mission:

DoubleCloud are the creators of the first ever managed ClickHouse service. We’re proud that our engineers are, and have always been, significant contributors to leading open-source technologies such as ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, Odyssey, WAL-G, and many, many others.

As a result, we’ve created a cutting-edge data platform that offers businesses fully managed open-source solutions such as Clickhouse, Kafka, etc., so data engineers can focus on what they love: building awesome solutions, instead of having to waste time on repetitive tasks related to scaling demand up or down, installing updates, deploying additional software and all the other boring but necessary admin that comes with data technologies.

This role can be performed on-site (in Belgrade or Berlin), hybrid or remote.

What you will do:

  • Promote the adoption of our DoubleCloud platform through public speaking, writing, and other outreach activities.
  • Develop technical content such as tutorials, blog posts, demo videos, and reference architectures that help data engineers understand and leverage our services.
  • Participate in our own events, as well as in external conferences and meetups, to maximize awareness about DoubleCloud's platform.
  • Build and nurture relationships within the tech community, gather feedback, and advocate for community needs internally.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to influence the product roadmap development based on community feedback and market trends.

What we expect from you:

  • 3+ years of experience in a developer advocacy, technical evangelist, or similar role.
  • In-depth understanding of data infrastructure technologies, such as databases and data warehouses, ETL, BI etc.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud service providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Excellent public speaking and writing skills with the ability to produce engaging content.
  • Proven track record of community building and engagement.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to attend conferences, meetups, and other community events.
  • Fluent in English, any other language is a plus.
